Today marks the 17th anniversary of my accident – an event that fundamentally changed my life. Seventeen years ago, while snowboarding, I suffered a comminuted fracture of my sixth cervical vertebra. In an instant, everything stopped. The diagnosis: paraplegia. No prospects, no goals, no idea what to do next. The world as I knew it had vanished.
The months after the accident were dark, the future seemed hopeless. It felt as if I had lost my footing – not just physically, but emotionally as well. But then, in the midst of this darkness, I found a small spark of light: painting. With a brush in my hand, I discovered something that gave me new energy. My creativity was ignited – and with it, a small glimmer of hope.
Art became more than just a hobby for me. It became my therapy, my outlet, and my way to transform all the emotions, the grief, and the despair into something positive. I started creating small works that inspired me and noticed that they touched other people too. Rollin'Art was born.
Today, 17 years later, I can proudly say: I am a mother, an entrepreneur, and a creative. Together with my fiancé and a fantastic team of 20, I bring joy, inspiration, and zest for life into the world. My art has not only enriched my life but is also a way to encourage others.
Last year I took on another exciting challenge: the takeover of the Hotel Cubo. There, I can contribute my creativity, implement new ideas, and help shape this special place. It's further proof that even after the darkest times, light can reappear.
My path has been anything but easy. I know how it feels when life pulls the rug out from under you. But I've learned that these phases pass. They challenge us, they teach us to become stronger, and eventually things get easier again. The sun always shines again – even after the darkest night.
On this anniversary, I want to tell you: Believe in yourself. Believe in your visions. No matter how dark things seem right now, persevere. Your path may look different than you imagined, but it can still be beautiful.

All love,
your Tina
