I love cooking!

In rehab after my accident, it was very important to me to learn to cook again. Since I can no longer move my fingers due to my paraplegia and only have limited hands and arms, that was of course a challenge.

It took many hours of practice, a few tricks, the right tools and of course a wheelchair-accessible kitchen to be able to work independently with spices, vegetables and co. to be able to do magic.

For me it is a way to switch off from everyday life and be creative in a different way. I love cooking for my family and I can't wait to cook for my son.

Here you will find one of my absolute favorite recipes - have fun imitating it.

Quinoa salad recipe

Quinoa salad for 4 people:

  • 200g quinoa
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 mango
  • 2 avocados
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 150g feta
  • Apple cider vinegar, olive oil, S, P, grain mustard, honey
  • mint to taste
  • red onion to taste

Cook the quinoa and rinse with cold water. Cut the ingredients into small pieces. Mix in the quinoa. taste. Complete. This salad goes great with grilled food or eaten on its own. Have a good meal.
